This hospital is amazing, my grandaughter was diagnosed with a heart defect and in just 10days they have done wonders. The care is over the top . They not only medically take care of them but also emotionally reaching the family's needs as well. Every question has been addressed, they have paid attention to every detail. Shout out for the excellent nurses too. Thank you Boston Children's Hospital !!!!
Was treated at children's for many years. Could never thank them enough for the care they gave me and my whole family. We are forever grateful to Dr Hendren and his whole team. There is no better hospital than Boston Children's Hospital.
Hola biena tarde escribo por quemi hija tiene el sindrome de intestino corto y me gustaria llevarla a su hospital para ver que opcion pueden darme para mejorar su calidad de vida ya que aca en Mexico no dan mas que la NPT... Es urgente que mi hija este alla solo que he marcado ya michas veces y no obtengo respuesta...
My son is still there, tomorrow makes 3 weeks. I have no issues with anything besides the fact that sharing a room with other people takes away your privacy. I had a roommate at one point and I knew everything that was wrong with their child, treatment plans and everything. I believe they need to take this into consideration when people have very sick children. Parents just want to worry about their child in the privacy of a single room :)
Our experience at BCH was less than exceptional. My son was misdiagnosed as having anxiety. His symptoms included whole body pain, extreme weight loss, tachycardia, & high blood pressure. While BCH did run numerous tests, he was sent home with his primary symptom listed as the diagnosis. After a month, we were admitted to Barbara Bush in Portland, Maine where they took the time to find his rare diagnosis and treat him. All around, very frustrating and painful experience.
Such wonderful and caring staff that make you feel at ease during tough times!
When I got pregnant with my second child I had to get the normal 3 month scans. At my 3 month scan we found out my daughter has completely heart block. Therefore I was admitted into Brigham and women's hospital which lead straight to children's hospital. After I gave birth children's hospital took over the care of my daughter.
