Everytime I come here I am amazed at the fantastic treatment and life changing advances being made in the pediatric cardiology program. The team works together so well, and they have greatly improved my daughter's quality of life!
Avoid BCH at all costs if your child has any vague illness that may be mitochondrial, dysfunction, CFS, POTS, Dysautonomia or any other difficult to diagnose illness. Your child may be taken away from your family and diagnosed as crazy!!!!! They took my child's CFS diagnosis and changed it to somatoform disorder which is a kind way of saying "crazy". It's a great place to visit the children and while I'm there I'll donate my platelets every three weeks. Giving is such a blessing.

I love this hospital!! You guys saved my life when I was 5 and had a blood clot in my brain. The nurses and doctors were all awesome and very caring. The night staff took care of me as if I were their own. :)
I have been a patient of Children's Hospital Boston for 24 years. I was born with Congenital Hydrocephalus. I had 2 shunt surgeries performed by the now retired Neurosurgeon-in-Chief of the hospital. If it were not for him I would not be alive today or be severely mentally handicapped. In 24 years I have never had a shunt malfunction. Mind you the average for someone my age is 15 or 20 by this age. Chances are that I will never have any issues with the shunt. The kidnapping of a child from parents is absolutely horrifying and disgusting behavior. Parents I would stay away from this hospital as you may not get your child back. They believe that they know best, even better than other doctors, and that they have the right to kidnap your child if you don't agree with them. Administration and doctors should be ashamed of themselves for what they have done to Justina Pelletier.
