Offered a ‘guaranteed’ price and then reduced it massively on collection, after I had taken the day off to be at home to meet them. I acted in good faith and believe that they did not. The guy who came to collect me told me that they do this every single time. Without fail. Do not trust this company.

I had a truly dreadful experience with The Car Buying Group. After reluctantly accepting a very low offer for my car, I was told the vehicle would be collected in two days. That didn’t happen – apparently, there were no available slots, and the collection was rescheduled. After receiving the car report, I informed them (well in advance) that a yellow warning light had appeared. I sent multiple messages about this – all of which were ignored.
