The Boatsmith is hard to get a hold of, doesn't return phone calls as promised, wouldn't deliver docks and lift after spending $16,000. Now I have a design flaw with the 12V DC winch from Floe International and I can not use the lift because the undersized pulleys are frozen. I've been waiting 5 days for a response. I should have a 2 year parts and labor warrantee. What good is a warrantee if the Boatsmith won't even return the phone call, let alone fix the defective lift. I have used their services for at least 10 years now and have had absolutely no problems. purchased docks and boat lift from him and they have all been superb products. he sells everything from old run abouts to top grade docks and lifts. I highly recommend him for not only services at his place but his willingness to travel to your place to do the work.
