I recently went to "The Black Cat" for the history behind the restaurant and was actually delighted with the service and menu. I have been to "The Stonewall Inn" in New York which is the birthplace of the modern Gay Rights movement in NYC. I am glad Los Angeles has "The Black Cat," which is also historical for the modern Gay Rights movement. Keep up the good work.
Had an enchanting evening here last night and loved everything!..the history of the building...the architecture...the decor(the artwork rocks!)...the eclectic drink menu(great Moscow Mule & Aviator!)...the menu(Bacon Wrapped Dates, Curried Eggplant, Shrimp&Grits, and Pork Chop!)...our cheerful, knowledgeable, attentive waitress(Kristen?)...and the desserts!(the Yogurt Panna Cotta rocks!) plus great coffee too!
