The place is beautiful, although I miss what is use to be. The drinks are way overpriced and served in very small glasses. I didn't eat the food. Not really a vegan friendly place. I would like to see more options for plant based food. Kudos for hosting the 50th anniversary of the Black Cat Tavern protest of 1957.
Don't eat the clams. Got food poisoning..
There's no handicapped parking which we needed and had to pay full price. No bun on our burger, rare chicken which was sent back and me totally OK with it all but not getting a second glass of wine after asking 3 times ripped it.
Great variety of great make mules, probably get that a lot. I love that this place as Madeira Red Fortified Wine. It's only 1 kind but that's way better than most places. The Sp. Chenin blend from Loire, France was just what i was looking for and the Gruner was again, from a great place for its' kind, Kamptal, Austria. The food isn't too bad either, grant, my date and I only tried one thing, but it was good. Dark, great place for a date where you just wanna talk and have drinks.
First time there. Always drive by. GLAD I stopped. Can't wait to go back!
