This is my place of choice when given a chance to go to dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and casual. The food is amazing. I have had the salmon, the fried chicken and the gumbo. The side dishes- especially the mashed sweet potatoes- are out of this world. The cocktails are amazing as well. The entrees are unique; there is nothing like The Bayou in the Lehigh Valley with its true Southern style. And the service is typically southern, too- warm, engaging, polite and easy- going. Every time!

Delicious food & accommodating staff. We had a large party for a birthday dinner and they went above and beyond to make it work for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I had my birthday dinner there this past weekend. Our waitress, Mary, was amazing!!! She answered any questions we had about the menu and drinks. The mac and cheese was fantastic and a completely different twist on gumbo. I had the brisket po boy and my boyfriend had the catfish and my daughter had the fried chicken sandwich. My po boy was a great combination of flavors! I posted pictures and got a lot of friends wanting to know where the Bayou was. Always the best! We love the Bayou and the group of young men who own and run it!! Food amazing always!!! That's the problem have to stay away for a little because you want to eat it all!
