I’ve been a customer at the Ark for several years . I have purchased two bikes in the last two years - one electric and, most recently , a Cube Nuroad gravel bike. I’ve also had various service visits . I’ve always had great service , good advice and good value . And the team are all really friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Couldn’t ask for more !
I recently bought my 3rd bike from Ark Cycles over the years and i couldn't have wished for a better service . Sean and the team were so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly helping me make the right choice for my new bike - a Cube AMS hybrid one44 e-mtb. Set everything up for me on collection day aswell, brilliant . You cannot beat a local bike shop for a fantastic bike buying experience!
Not very impressed with my recent experience here. One of the gear levers needed repairing on my Specialized mountain bike and despite them seeing the bike and it being booked in for repair nearly 3 weeks in advance, as this was the only slot available, they hadn't ordered the necessary part so I was without my bike for a further 4 days from the appointment date. They were also meant to do a brake service and yet the brakes are still loose, so they haven't done that either (I didn't pick it up myself to check). So shoddy job... read more
After being let down by Tredz (bike lost during delivery)… The Ark Cycles restored my faith in good service. Bike arrived as promised (delivery to Edinburgh area). Well packaged, set up was great, first electric bike and I’m loving it (Cube reaction).
I went to pick up a new Specialized road bike and was looked after by Sean who was brilliant. I couldn’t have wished for better service. He went through everything and made sure that I was completely satisfied before I left. Ark Cycles can only be given 5 stars for service and this includes Elie doing much of the administration.
