We stayed in an apartment in the same house in Shaldon . If it's anything like the Captain's Cabin it will be very good.
Excellent accommodation well appointed clean and Shaldon is a lovely place to visit only problem with the place is the lack of parking car parks few and far between and on road parking restricted to 2 hours

Great location and the owners came out promptly when we had a leak from the kitchen tap. Only criticism is the table is way to big for the kitchen particularly when trying to load the dishwasher and cook a family meal and the TV is the wrong place, virtually unwatchable from where its is. However we enjoyed our stay and free parking was definitely a bonus.
Absolutely quality! Very tastefully decorated and modern! Great location, close to 3/4 pubs and a few restaurants. 5 minute walk to the beach where you can catch the ferry to Teignmouth. Very dog friendly town.
