I bought the beef and chicken boreks from the bakery section (2 for £3) and it was a total waste of money. The chicken borek was disgusting and actually dangerous—it was completely undercooked, slimy, and incredibly salty. I couldn’t even swallow the first bite before I had to bin it. Serving undercooked chicken in a "fresh" bakery is a major health risk. The beef borek was equally disappointing. Nice local store with a great selection of fruit, veg and Turkish/Mediterranean food items. Prices are reasonable and quality feels good.
