We brought a baby bird in that we found on our street , very friendly staff who took out the animals for my 5 year old to see with out him even asking , he was so Excited He got to meet Iras the screech owl and olive the little opossum , squirrels and snakes ! I'm glad I was told about this place! I felt guilty when I found the baby bird knowing he would probably die , but after leaving I felt so happy that he had a chance At life ( they even informed me he was a baby dove)

I had to bring in 4 baby birds and the staff was amazing. Very informative and also showed my kids all the animals while we were there. I made a donation and recommend that if you're able to do the same. People who volunteer for this stuff have a heart of gold.

Such an amazing and caring rescue organization that is entirely volunteer and donor based. Check out their great 35th Anniversary cookbook for humans and for your pets, for sale (proceeds all to the rescued animals) too!

The staff and volunteers were very helpful when I brought in a baby opossum. I was a little upset because the baby was found with his dead mom and siblings after the mom had been hit by a car. The staff was very kind and caring. They also assured me they would place the baby with 2 other baby opossums which were about the same size that someone else had brought in. This made me feel somewhat better for the little fellow. Please consider donating to them. They save so many animals! Thanks TWRC!

Such warm caring people!! We had an injured bluejay and we took it right in. They were kind and we can even check up on the bird through email!!

My husband and I found a small injured opossum near our home and needed advice on how to keep him safe. I sent an email through their contact form on the website late at night and I fully expected to have to call to follow up on my inquiry the next day. However, I received a response before 8am the next morning. I'm very impressed with the level of responsiveness and care I've seen from this organization already and I recommend them very highly.
