They DO NOT help baby sparrows, pigeons, starlings, or muscovy ducklings. Frankly, sad that people who claim to be compassionate would sooner leave a non-native animal to die rather than help it. They will give every excuse as to why, and try to tell you to take it their 'other' center (which is a totally different organization and not affiliated in any way) but the bottom line is they won't help you if your animal happened to be born one of these species. Breaks my and my family's heart. So hypocritical. They will never get... read more

Texas Wildlife Rehab (TWRC) is a safe haven for all wild animals that are injured or in need of human care. Caring individuals that give of themselves to save the wild creatures of nature. There is a special place in heaven for all of these people who do so much for nothing but the sheer knowledge that they are saving one of God's creatures. If you need a good cause to donate to please choose TWRC...

Thank you from so many of us for nursing all of the critters! I found your site because I've been keeping up with the news on Harvey ... I am also sharing your page in hopes that you will get more followers and more donations ... Love from the bottom of my heart for all you do <3

My partner and I rescued A wild bird a few years back and they were so helpful in how we should care for the bird until we were able to drop off. They took the bird in and nursed it back to health! YAY

During a time that I could not find anyone - I found them. Everyone is initiated with over load of hurt wildlife from Harvey, ect - they still made room for the red tail hawk I found on the side of a road. I was assured that she would be cared for, and that her broken leg could be fixed. I am so grateful for people like that........
