Found a baby bird who was blown from his nest in the storm yesterday. Nest is 20 ft up so I couldn't renest it. We made a makeshift nest to protect him from the rain and cats and I took what we thought was a baby woodpecker as we have a family of them who like to wake us up. The loving people here told me I found a baby dove, and we had done a great nest for him. We can track and find where this poor baby goes. Wonderful, kind, caring and attentive staff. We deopped off a fledgling bird today who wasn't flying or walking well, and the staff took her right in. We made a small donation and plan to give more to this fine facility.
Dropped off a baby blue jay this morning and the staff were very kind and helpful. I miss that baby already but I know it is in great hands.
They took in newborn squirrels & possums, owls--so awesome. Need 1 in Hobby area!
I loved this place, took 6 baby birds that we found. They were very helpful and we are happy that the baby birds will be taken care of..
