Don't know about other TRTA presidents, or even other sessions, but Tim Lee has sailed this ship past a lot of scary icebergs! Kudos to him and his staff. The newsletters are such a help, especially since I now live in Las Vegas. Whatever the changes to our health care, we are better off than Nevada teachers, and probably several other states. Kudos too to every teacher who contacted a legislator. I would have done so, but I am no longer a constituent. Bravo for the teachers of the state I grew up in and retired from!
I will be holding a informational meeting about how to stay on Medicare with a Medicare supplement on Sept 12th. This will be in East Texas so if anyone would like information give me a call. Debbie 903 571 6750
I appreciate all Tim Lee, the staff of TRTA, and our TRTA members are trying to do about our retiree health care crisis. THANKS TO U ALL! I just hope the Legislators are listening, or I won't be able to pay my bills! Thanks to the Legislators who are trying to do something to help retirees!
TRTA & Tim Lee are an invaluable resource and support. The first thing every teacher should do upon retirement is join.
