He repaired what others could not repair.
Great!
My husband suffered a pretty bad injury to his shoulder and Dr. Kruse was very forthcoming from the beginning. It took 13 months, 4 surgeries (3 done by Dr. Kruse) to get him from zero function to 90%. We are beyond grateful for his care, he took a nightmare shoulder injury to a functioning shoulder so my husband can regain normalcy in his life!
I had a right total shoulder replaced by Dr.Kruse after a failed workman’s comp surgery & it was the easiest recovery I’ve ever had. He keeps you informed & involved in the whole process. He genuinely cares about your well being. He also repaired a dislocated collarbone with massive rotator cuff tear in March & I couldn’t be happier. I have referred dozens of friends to him for shoulder surgery because he is the best
The doctor pulled up the MRI so that I could see where the tear in the rotator cuff actually was - he was not immediately set on surgery...
I traveled 1,111 miles (one way) to have Dr. Kruse fix my shoulder. After entering his office, I was impressed with the professionalism of his staff and the personal attention I was afforded. Following my surgery, the staff at the Texas Institute for Surgery were also extremely competent and professional. When it's time to get my other shoulder fixed, Dr. Kruse will be the surgeon who will make it good again.
I’m only 2 weeks out from my reverse total shoulder replacement (revision of a previous Hemicap shoulder replacement), so I’m not sure what the long term results will be yet, but I can tell that I’m miles ahead of where I was after my last two surgeries on the same shoulder. Although I’ve had some extra bleeding due to the complexity of the revision, I’ve had virtually no pain since my surgery. The office and support staff are amazing! They all remember who I am (rare in a specialist’s practice) and Dr. Kruse is very thought... read more
After another slip, I tore my rotator cuff for the third time. Along with arthritis and scar tissue, Dr. Kruze decided with me that RTSR was the best option for me. The surgery went well and I stayed 2 nights for observations. I am now following his advise and doing Physical Therapy at home using the PT Genie app. Dr. Kruze is an excellent doctor, very caring and listens to your concerns and explains things so you can fully understand what is going on with you.
I liked his explanation of what was wrong and how he could fix it and give me back full ROM. I liked the implant he uses and the precision of the surgery. I came to him after 2 failed rotator cuff repairs from elsewhere and was woeful of ever getting motion back. Now 6 months later I DO have full ROM and function. Still building strength, but that will come. I especially appreciate the timeliness of his appointments. I can only sing his and his staff's praises!
