Worst experience my family has ever had at a hospital. Just before midnight, I went with my family to take our four year old daughter in because she accidentally fell from her bed and her arm was in severe pain. They got us in a room immediately and after over an hour wait took some x-rays. Over another hour later they finally told us that her elbow was broken and that they would administer a pain medication injection and give her a temporary splint, but no one returned for o...Continue Reading

I had surgery on November 28, 2018. I had to stay at the hospital overnight. I have to say that I had the absolute best care I've ever received at a hospital. Everyone from the day surgery unit staff, the 2nd floor staff, and the people who brought me my meals were absolutely wonderful. They were polite, caring, and just downright respectful. I cannot thank this hospital and staff enough! I just wish I could remember the names everyone who took such great care of me so I could thank each and every one of them.

they send you home with another person's medications and then tell you bring them back. After I was just released from the hospital with pneumonia, can't you come and get them??? No, you need to bring them back. well as a nurse it's your job to make sure that you give the right medicine to the right patient. plus this medication was used for blood pressure. I am glad I looked at the bottle. Nurse's MAR...

The Emergency Room here is horrible, my daughter had surgery here less than two weeks ago, and came to the ER for heavy bleeding.. she’s been sitting here for two hours in the waiting room bleeding.. I guess that doesn’t constitute emergency enough for you!

My husband came in the ER this evening with chest pains. After some test they said he had a heart attack and they would need to transfer him. I ask for him to be transferred to Medical City, they recommended Presbyterian Dallas, but said if they were full they would send us to Medical City. They sent us to Presbyterian and they are full. So we get to sit in the ER until tomorrow morning and wait for a bed! The charge nurse here apologized and said she clearly told Rockwall on the phone that they had no beds! So frustrating!

When you go to the emergency room you expect professionalism. I received quite the opposite. I had a PA come in to let me know "your CAT scan came back and you have a brain tumor, can I pray with you?" Not acceptable!!! You do not give a result like that! After another CAT by a neurosurgeon, ruled as possible stroke. I also kept telling the er staff I was in middle of breast cancer treatment, expanders have magnets, no MRIs allowed. They had to wait for the radiologist to agree with me before letting me check out. All around... read more
