The ER experience is horrible and worst than the county hospital Ben Taub!!! I've been here waiting with my daughter going on 8 hours AND COUNTING!!!!! I will tell her doctor when she has a concern NEVER SEND US HERE AGAIN!!!!!
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered! 2 and half hour trip, because the GI specialist told us to bring in our 6 year old, 12 hour wait to be seen by anyone to only be given a couple of crackers and apple juice and sent on our way at 3 in the morning!! It will never happen again! This Hospital and staff need to reevaluate on how they take care of children. I will most definitely be taking my child somewhere else.

The ER sucked we were told there would be a 4 hour wait and after we were there for 5 they told us we had a 8hour wait so we drove a hour for nothing we brought my daughter back home to the hospital in lake Jackson they took her right in cause she was a baby no questions asked and started taking care of her . But the other time we have been to Texas children's it has been awesome they took really good care of us

Inpatient care was good and continued care in the Clinical care center by sonny harpavat in the biliary atresia clinic is outstanding!!
