Doctor was great.... Once my son got looked at by the doctor. 8 hours waiting for my son to be looked at. We took him in because he was wheezing and had shortness of breath. And then once the doctor checked my son he finished inn about 25-30 minutes. Doctor was amazing, did his job very well.
I love our TCH doctors, but their bad billing department has ruined it for me. My family will look elsewhere for care.
Yesterday was just a routine visit and everything went great. When my daughter was seriously ill with heart issues I could not have asked for better care. Were there hiccups in the system along the way? Of course, but I have a healthy teen to show for it . Sometimes when you are under the stress of an ill or injured child, little things can seem monumental. Great hospital!
I am very disappointed with Texas Children's Hospital. I have always wanted to work for them because of it's values. I have experience in the medical field. On all the positions that I applied for said application not considered. I feel they are not giving qualified applicants a fair change. Properly not looking at the application at all. I just applied for the Woodlands Hospital that's not even open yet. This place is amazing!!! The drs, nurses, staff, even down to custodial in the hallways are amazing people. They are so friendly and willing to help you or show you the way. They don't just tell you, they actually stop what they are doing and show you the way.
TCH ER is ridiculous. Ended up leaving and having my son treated at a different ER 🙄

Both of my brothers have been treated in TCH and it's by far one of the best children hospitals! Their staff is so helpful and their DRs are just amazing .
