I am really upset how some nurses are still in training and they dont know what they are doing. My newborn baby sister was scheduled to get some blood out....anyways this nurse did seemed like she did not know what she was doing! She inserted the needle wrong didnt even get the vein, i myself called another nurse to come and help out and the profesional one DID DO THE RIGHT JOB!!! The nurse even seemed upset of the incident...like please be carefull and take acction if you feel the need too. Other than that, we really enjoy ... read more
While I am happy with the treatment my child is receiving, there is no place for her to play. There are plenty of rooms for older children but no where for a baby to crawl and play. When a person is in the hospital for days or weeks at a time you get stir crazy and a baby needs a place to play. #Texaschildrensneedsatoddlerplayroom

The hospital is an excellent place to stay at and the doctors are great.. They did a good job with my child.. BUT some of the nurses could make this hospital look bad.. I just wish they new how to choose them well that they would appreciate there job.
What a great experience, even down to the receptionist who gave me her direct number to call back. We paid for the valet parking, which allowed us to walk right in where we needed to be. Not knowing how long it would take us to get there, we were a 1/2hr early, but the nurses took us in right away and took care of all the weight & height, etc. before our appointment. Epic fail! Scheduler failed to tell us that the surgery scheduled for our child was when the doctor was the on-call Doctor and they would be working her in. After 10 hours of no food and waiting at the hospital we are headed home without the surgery! So incredibly frustrated!!!!!
