At this time I'm totally disappointed in this hospital. My daughter arrived at 7:00pm last night with her son was finally seen by a doctor at 2:30am and now still waiting on a room since he was admitted. His a 2 months preemie that was born at 31 weeks. Just getting out of the hospital last Tuesday. Having breathing issues as well as vomiting.
Overall I'm satisfied with the care we received for my son. We've had several appointments and most recently a surgery in the clinical care center. Dr. Koh took great care of us and the urology depart is very easy to work with. However I will say I find it incredibly frustrating that in a children's hospital a small private space isn't available for nursing/pumping/feeding mothers. Worst fucking hospital in katy so not take your kid here they would probably die before they got seen very poor help effort 5 to 6 hour waits to minimum im surprised that there even still even in operation

Texas Children's Hospital saved my son's life, 10/09/80. He was premature and was struggling. But with all of their help he survived and he's doing okay today.
I was a patient at TCH when I was 9 months old. I had 2 corrective surgeries at age 2 and 4. Dr. Denton Cooley was my surgeon and Dr Mullins, who I used to call Evel Knievel,was my cardiologist. My parents and I thank God and my wonderful pediatrician Dr. Peyton Kelly for sending me to such a remarkable place. I am now a healthy 43 yr old RN who has worked NICU, NB Nursery and now I am currently a pediatric nurse in an acute care clinic. Terrible efficiency. They can't seem to manage a consistent appointment time between scheduling, calling to remind you, and then the actual appointment itself. We've been waiting for an hour an a half, and even though the sign in the waiting room says to please see the front desk if you've been waiting for more than thirty minutes, insinuating that they care at all how long you've been waiting, the desk staff is incredibly rude when you ask if they know how much longer you will have to wait.
