I was very nervous about my cataract surgeries, both eyes two days apart. Everyone at Texan Eye and the Surgery Center explained things and made me feel comfortable. Thank you Dr. Walters for giving me sight!
All the doctors are great. You will be waiting a minimum of 20 minutes after your appointment time and likely 45 min to an hour before you are seen. This is their standard and has been for more than 30 years. If you are late, your appointment is canceled.

I had cataract surgery with Dr Walters. It went so well!!! Surgery was a breeze and the outcome was life changing. Surgery staff was outstanding. I highly recommend Dr Walters and the Texan Eye surgery center.

Scheduled a contact lens exam for my daughter. Arrived, got a regular exam (fine, wanted glasses, too) and was told that no one was available for contact fitting. We were then sent to cornea mapping. I asked why, since we were not going to do the contacts, and I was confused. The tech blew me off and was rude, did it anyway, then sent us next door to pay for contacts. Huh????
