RecommendedI see Dr. Kimberly Keeland yearly for my eye exams and she's wonderful. When I needed cataract surgery I saw Dr. Sargent at this office and I'm thrilled with the results. Absolutely no pain and everything went smoothly.
Had an appt at 115pm arrived at 110pm. They called me back at 150pm. The room was moving except for me. Said the wait was because it took so long for me to complete my paperwork. I walked in with paperwork completed! Maybe if you 'look' like the type of customer they want to serve you will get better service.
Friendly staff, Dr. Loose is excellent! Been going there for years, he has really strengthen my vision by injections.
Today I went in for an 11:30am appt. They couldn't find it. They had called to confirm on Friday and even had to set aside a trial pair of contacts for me before seeing the doctor. My contacts were there but no appt. I was not happy as I don't live close. They figured out what happened the the appt person came put and apologized and brought another doctor with her, Dr. Ung. Check up with Dr Marquis, always good!
The office is highly disorganized and I have never had an appointment where the doctor was on time or even running only 20 or 30 minutes late. The doctors (which I have seen a few in an attempt to give it the old college try) are at minimum, 45 minutes late. They also do not let you know thos at check in so you can reschedule with them or your day. ie., no respect for your time. There are no toys for children or friendly environment, despite advertising that they have pediatric eye doctors.
I changed from from visiting an optometrist to Texan Eye a number of years back because the optometrist sent me there for tests he could not do. Dr Kristin Sargent is awesome. She has taken care of my eyes for many years. Dr Marquez has taken care of my glaucoma and managed it for these same years. We recently removed my cataracts and replaced my lenses with the latest technology. Dr Sargent was professional and honest about my care. None of the hype that you see on tv. My visit yesterday with Dr. Robert Marquis was excellent as always. He spends the time to address your concerns and explain options. I very much appreciate his skills and care for his patients. He was assisted by Megan, the eye care technician (6 yrs of experience) who smoothly and gently guided me through all the tests prior to seeing Dr. Marquis. A win for both of us. Thanks to you both.
