I get great care from my doctor. However, when I visited today, several staff were working without masks, including in the reception area, glasses store, and an office area in the midst of exam rooms. When I asked about their mask policies I heard self-serving excuses. This in a healthcare facilit and one that literally needs to get within inches of your face to procide care/exams, and serves what appeared to be predominantly a high risk patient group (elderly). I wish I had left.
I visited the Balcones location on 9/3. I was hurried through my appointment and I left without a prescription for what I wanted. I called on 9/8 for a prescription and I was told that one would not be written for either the contact I wanted nor another brand of contact I wanted to try out. The only option at that time was to take a prescription for the very expensive contact they "suggested" for me. I email them to let them know my frustrations. An office manager called me back.
