Hurried us out – We order a salad as an appetizer to my lasagna and her pasta. We're not even half way finished with the salad, and our dinner comes. Can't the wait staff see that we're still eating our salad and not ready for our meals yet? The table for two is tiny, so there's barely enough room to fit all the dishes. The lasagna piece was small, luke warm, and overpriced. I felt like we were rushed so they could get as many "turns" as possible for the table. The pizza is still great but I only order take out now. Oh yeah,... read more

Fantastic Authentic Italian! A Must Try! – I'm amazed by these people who complain about the fantastic gem that is Terroni...they reinforce my belief that most of the people I meet are ignorant fools. Terroni claims authenticity, and it delivers the most authentic Italian meal I've had outside of Italy, and a couple select restaurants in NYC's Little Italy. The food is absolutely delicious, fueled by flavors that you only find in the rarest of Italian restaurants and Italian specialty markets...the decor is understated, yet ... read more

Cry babies should not go here – If you're looking for American style Italian food, go to Olive Garden! This is NOT that kind of place. Sure, noone wants to eat in a rude - officious restaurant, but, if you're not ready to experience an AUTHENTIC italian meal, as it has been passed down for generations in Italy, than clearly, you have come to the wrong place. This is where you go to re-create your trip to Italy, when you had a meal that you enjoyed, because the food and the atmosphere were great! I hear the Olive garden has B... read more

Terroni--Avoid this place like the plague!!! – I have never in all my 38 years of eating at restaurants all over the world, ever, had an experience like the one I just had at Terroni on Beverly Blvd. I asked for some parmesan cheese for my mixed green salad and not only did they refuse, "we don't allow that here" they pretty much insulted my mother and I for even wanting it! I said that there was too much dressing on the salad & that I thought the parmesan would help. The manager then told me that he was "certain" that there... read more

Food was atrocious! Atmosphere was good... – Authentic Italian food?! Who are they kidding? I took a friend there for his birthday and had to apologize because the food was so bad. How exactly do you mess up pizza? The pasta was al dente, but not particularly flavorful. The creme caramel tasted like it came out of can. On the plus side, the ambience was great and the wine our waiter recommended was tasty and reasonably priced. I'd go back - but only to sit at the bar and have drinks.

I would be embarrassed if I had suggested this place to my friends. – Mediocre Food / Completely Pretentious (total waste of time) The food was blah... the kind of blah that makes you forget where the money went, and at the same time, wish you had it back. Please don't waste your time. This seems like the kind of place that will be replaced in a month, and no one will miss. I cannot believe some Brazilian douche just begrudgingly served me a bowl of noodles with salami shredded on top, messed up two of my friend's orders (wh... read more

The Chef is a Fascist! UN FASCISTA!! DO NOT GO!! – We were refused parmessan cheese on our pasta and pizza. Let's not forget we are PAYING for OUR food! The server and staff were very nice, nice place but we were flat out refused to be served any parmessan on our pasta or pizza!!! Our bus boy explained he'd be fired if he gave us any! The Chef is on some high and mighty kick on what's right and how his food should be served. Again, let's not forget that we are paying for OUR food and would like to enjoy it. Go down the stree... read more

Fantastic ! – Every other reviewer seemingly can't eat a meal without balsamic vinegar! You know what else they don't have ... ketchup! The chef worked damn hard to conceive and craft the dishes and pizzas on the menu, so enjoy them. The other reviewers are spoiled transplants to Los Angeles who think that because they're "producers" they can invent and order what they want. Didn't "Get Shorty" make fun of that fact? I know everyone is mourning the closure of The Spaghetti Factory on Sunset - but sit back, relax, and enjoy t... read more

Does authentic mean rude, condescending, and unsatisfying? – 1. Read the other reviews. 2. Note the similarities. 3. Don't fall for those reviews that are clearly written by employees or friends of Terroni. 4. Read mine. If you want. My boyfriend and I, avid restaurant goers and members of the food/bev industry went on a Wednesday evening in search of Italian food. We stumbled upon Terroni...looked great, friendly host, seated right away. Cool. Our bottle of sparkling arrives, our bread, and some olive oil. We start enjoying... read more
