Good food but terrible attitude – We had been here once before and thought it was good, so we brought our friends for dinner. We ordered a bottle of wine, because their corkage fee is so high for a place like this..$25. The we ordered our dinner. Our friend really wanted a few walnuts on his Margarita pizza, and was told there was no way they would do this because all the dishes cannot be changed in any way, or they would no longer be "authentic". So we asked if we could just order a side order of walnuts. Not allowed! This ... read more

Cool Music, Cool decor; Average Food = Lots of squirtz and stomach aches! – Expecting something new and fresh. Average food. Panini Classico very bad. Meat was off, as was cheese and bread. People's pizza's were average, but hey its pizza.( Don't ask for the parmigiana, they have a rule) Forewarned by friends who came in and said reviews were bad. Ate half of sandwich and most of salad. Got home and used bathroom; not crazy but confused at what my stomach was doing... Hungry, decided to eat the second half of Sandwhich...whi... read more

In response to the post:The owner of Terroni's hate ..... – Dear friend, I waited on you on the election night, I was polite and courteous as I approached your "tiny" table, and all you could offer was hostility and rudness towards me (the gay waiter), I had no idea you were denied a bigger table...but of course the waiter takes the blame, doesn't he? Too sad you left out the TRUTH in your review, and decided to write a defeamatory statement instead. At TERRONI there's absolutely NO issue with gender, race and sexual orienta... read more

Recreating fascist Italy... right here in LA! – When Terroni opened a year ago I lived two blocks away and loved going there. Some of my friends were a little upset that you couldn't make modifications or substitutions to the menu items, but having waited tables in the past, I figured this was just to create efficiency in the kitchen and make service more expedient. I had a couple favorites on the menu and never had a problem with it... until today. I have probably eaten here 15-20 times in the last year, and I'm pretty much... read more

The owner of Terroni's hates gay people – We arrived at Terroni?s on the evening of November 4th. Due to the election it wasn?t crowded at all. There are four booths situated on the north end of the main dining room. Three of the four booths had two people seated at them. The final booth was free. We asked if we could sit there and the host informed us that we could not. It seemed odd, since there were three identical tables with only two patrons, but we did not press the issue, guessing they were saving the table in the off... read more

Favorite Casual italian – People that give Terroni a low rating must be out of their mind! the food especially the pastas are amazing! The flavors are always consistently good and the selection of pastas are more interesting than any other italian restaurant of the same price level. This place is perfect for any occasion, once u try it u'll see what i mean.

This place is a joke – I've been using citysearch for years now and I've never felt compelled to waste my time signing up or to review a restaurant but I am compelled to simply because this place is so awful. The service is awful and snobbish. The food tasted like excrement and when I asked for some balsmic vinegar to mask the putrid taste of their sea bass they lied to me and when I insisted they talked down to me. I have never walked away from a meal feeling such anger.

Can't speak for L.A. – I only rated the L.A. location 4/5 ("recommended) because I can't post without a rating. I've never been to the L.A. location, but I just feel like I have to speak up for the sake of the Terroni name. I have been going to Terroni in Toronto since the days when they were just about 7 tables and about 5 bar stools. The food has not changed one bit - it tastes fresh and the flavours all blend together well... basically simple food without any fuss. The vibe at two of the three locations (Eaton Centre whic... read more
