Had a very disappointing interaction over the phone with a lady called Sara . I called to book a follow up appointment with my physiotherapist. She was unprofessional, dismissive and spoke to me in a condescending manner when I was simply trying to book an appointment. This medical facilty should not be falsely advertised as a walk-in NHS centre. Although we were directed by 111 to proceed to Teddington Memorial Hospital and walked in at 7.45pm, well before the closing time of 8pm, an unstable and irate male receptionist shouted "WE ARE CLOSED. GO TO SYON CLINIC WHICH IS PRIVATE. We responded politely: WE WERE DIRECTED BY 111 TO COME HERE AND IT IS NOT YET 8PM AND WE ARE HERE BEFORE CLOSING TIME, SO LET US SEE THE MATRON OR HEAD NURSE. Very nice lady at the reception who was polite and kind. Dr Thomas provided the help I needed and I am very grateful and appreciate it.
Arrived a little before time to Diabetic eye screening.my first..went through to have eye drops administered. Small wait to take effects.then went through to have photos taken of the eye and explained there and then..from when I arrived a guide at the door directs you to where you want to go.its also very well laid out with colour coding .well organised from beginning to end and very friendly staff.
