Building manager will happily violate the basic rights of tenants by allowing an extremely loud smoke extraction vent to run for more than half of a month because staff haven’t been trained in how to reset a fire alarm, making it physically impossible to sleep. To be fair, I will write the good and downsides of this building as an occupier. Excellent location, short walk to grocery (Aldi, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s), city centre, restaurants, university and train station. The downsides are poor internet service, working only in the early morning, no concierge, no digital fob for the main gate, and the cleaning service for the communal area is minimal.
