Best tapas restaurant in town! – In short, I tried all the tapas rests in LA. This is deffinitly the best. The others are not bad, but this is the best period. Add to this the great atmosphere of this rest and the great service. You will feel like home. Very warm people are in charge of this venue. Great for a date and/or to share a nice dinner or brunch with friends. I brought my own bottle of wine while the wine license clears. I was impressed also with the quality of the products used (pork chops, ham, cheeses, etc) which... read more

Wonderful Food & Service! – I went here with my husband last Friday & we had a great time. The food was unique, the service was excellent as well as the atmosphere. Go before everyone finds out about this little gem! It's BYOB - so be sure to bring a nice bottle of wine with you.

Amazing food and service, a must go! – The food is excelent, I recommend everything from the meats, the tapas, the fish, etc. First class couisine in a high end rest at very reasonable prices. I really had a great experience and already tried all the menu. It was like having my mom cooking for me! The owners will serve and of course, when this happens a good service is guaranteed. Cheers to Gustavo and Veronica. BYBOW while the wine license gets through. Tasca has also great brunch! A must go.... every day.

Third Time there in a Month!!! I'm Moving In!!!! – Go! Go! Go! I've now eaten the entire menu so thank God there are daily specials! The mussels are wonderful, the burratta cheese & sorrento ham I could eat every day! The service is low-key & terrific! The owners (Gustavo & Veronica) act as if they're welcoming you into their home! Still have liquor license issues but when they resolve those & you can drink at the bar...they're never getting rid of me!!

Just a great spot. Great food and wonderful people – Just came back from dinner at Tasca on W3rd in LA with my 23 and 25 year old children that live in LA. Fantastic food and wonderful people. Relatively young restaurant that has a chance to be a great one. Owners are Veronica and Gustavo. Both very warm and wonderful poeple. I would love to see the neighborhood support them here in a tough town for resaturants. I know that we will be be back. Everything from braised ribs to artisan cheese to pork chops to sea bass were all ... read more

Mellow atmosphere, excellent service and slightly above-average food... – We just went to Tasca on a Friday night with a group of four. We noticed that the restaurant wasn't packed like the "other" tapas place close by. We didn't mind because the owners were extremely pleasant and accomodating. The decor inside is simple, but lacks warmth. Perhaps they have not finished decorating the place, since it's a newcomer on the scene. The food was actually very good, but didn't really impress. It tastes very home-made, so it's satis... read more

Off to a Good Start – Tasca is relatively new so I will give it another chance in a few weeks, but while the service was wonderful and warm, the food was merely OK and the lack of an alcohol license and valet parking leaves much to be desired. Street parking is generally restricted around the restaurant for several blocks so unless you live nearby and can walk there, you're best bet is to park on 1st or Beverly. The tapas were pleasant but nothing stood out in particular. Hopefully it will improve over time.

Tapas on Third – Lovely lighting, warm atmosphere, attentive servers, this place is waiting to become a secret spot. The menu is a tad pricey for tapas but their food is excellent. Imported burratta, black sausage, spanish tortilla, - all offer a unique taste that I havent found anywhere else in Los Angeles. Sangria is a good filler until their liquor license comes.

Best Tapas Place in LA! – This place is great--I went last Sunday night and I've been raving about it ever since. Great atmosphere, amazing service (a couple owns the restaurant, and were very attentive and accomodating), and the food is to die for. Also, The portions are pretty large and the prices are reasonable. What I loved about the place was that it didn't feel "LA posh,"--it was stylish, relaxing and romantic, but the servers didn't look you up and down and size you up. They are still waiting to get their liquor licen... read more
