I echo most of the previous reviews. Thankfully this isn't my usual surgery and I was referred here as a one-off appointment. I arrived five minutes before my appointment and used the self check-in screen. After waiting forty minutes, I went to the receptionist to make sure I had checked in ok. She was sitting there taking some medication and looked at me like I was disturbing her. GPS is an absolute shambles of healthcare and how they are allowed to continue in this form is unbelievable. You never get to see the same GP twice and therefore there is no relationship built up. My wife contacted them via Blinx due to a change in medication which due to the withdrawal of her water tablet has caused severe swelling of the legs, feet and ankles. She received a call from a “clinician” who offered her an appointment in 7 days time. She is in great pain and is unable to sleep. This is totally unacceptable and i... read more

Taken two days for prescription for 2 year old baby needing antibiotics after seeing a doctor 2 days ago, disgusting ,reception staff are very rude, which is unacceptable,

Tell you that you can only get an appointment throuhh the system at 8am, yet you go on it and all the appointments are taken for fhe day. Apparently no spare appointments. Had to call 111 in the end for an appointment out of thin air, dor the doctor to actually not even look at the issue and tell me theyre running late and thats the topic of my appointment. Had repear prescriptions completely missed, and sent to the wrong pharmacy even though ive changed it multiple times.

I'd give 0 stars if the review allowed it. The GPS Healthcare system, process and staff are all rubbish. We are never notified of a problem with a request submitted online for things like prescriptions, we only find out when chasing it up. To get an appointment with a doctor who knows you - forget it. To get an appointment with anyone else - a nightmare. To sort out a problem with repeat prescriptions - a nightmare. To sort out a medical review of repeat prescriptions - a nightmare, plus you have to wait up to 2 weeks and ex... read more
