This is the second carpet we’ve purchased from Tailored Flooring and once again had excellent, friendly service throughout the process. We were particularly delighted that they managed to squeeze in our fitting before Christmas. We will definitely be back in the future!
DO NOT USE We paid in full for a repair to our utility room floor after a quote from Darren in Jan 24, it seems shortly before he sold the business. They have kept our money, not returned any calls, fobbed us off when visiting the shop (e.g. I just work in IT, I'll pass the message on) and ignored a letter saying we would take them to the small claims court if they didn't do the work or refund the money. I don't write many reviews but felt I had to in this case to protect others from the new people behind this company. This used to be a great business when Darren was running it. HOWEVER, It has been bought by a bunch of private equity sharks whose behaviour is completely different. same brand - completely different company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. As a couple of the reviews below state, the company was bought out. The original guy no longer works there. It was bought by a company called Knotistry. And I don't know what they're doing with the company, but they're essentially not fulfilling orders. I ordered flooring from there because they didn't charge delivery. After a week I hadn't received a dispatch email. So I phoned them. And it just rang out. Note: The company has changed management and it would appear the business has gone down the pan. I've spent over £500 on a damaged floor and no one will return my calls to get it replaced.
