Best Steaks and Wine List in Philly! – My girlfriend and I dined at Table 31 on Valentines Day and were blown away by the experience we had there. The margarita pizza was a great starter. it was crisp and very tasty. We had the Tomahawk steak. It actually looked like a tomahawk and was flavorful. The sides were also out of this world. The sommelier provided us with lots of information about our wine and was helpful and knowledgeable. It is hard to find such great service pairing with outstanding food! Bravo!

Over reaching Steak House in Philadelphia – Over reaching price for quality of the restaurant. We had the misfortune of being there on a very cold night and they insisted on sitting us right in the draft from the front door. We asked for another table but were told flat out that nothing was available in spite of many groups the size of ours being seated during the course of our meal. But, that was something we got over and the staff worked hard to overcome and to keep us happy. The real problem was finally that the dining ro... read more

Way overpriced for what you get – Read the following review (blog.typeadiversions. com/ 2008/07/table-31-philadelphia.html) . Although in general I agree with this dining critic's review of Table 31 I would add he was rather generous. Our party ordered several appetizers and some were good and some were surprisingly unmemorable. And the four of us ordered different entrees and it was truly a h*t or miss. Wine selection by the glass in a word, terrible. But worst of all the service was very disappointing. Me and others at the... read more

Best birthday ever – I went to Table 31 for my birthday last Friday night. It seemed a little slow, which I can only assume was bc of it being the weekend right after New Year's. The whole city actually seemed dead??? Regardless, the bar was very cozy. We didn't have to wait for our table but decided to have a drink first in this little alcove in the bar area. So cute...drinks were very creative--I had this mango champagne cocktail which was so tasty. We sat at cozy booth on the second floor, and had a server that was very f... read more

all around worst – My parents and I had the opposite experience at Table31. We did not think the service matched the price tag. Wish we had read the reviews below before making reservations. One thing is evident, there is a lack of consistency when dining here. Will not go back when there are so many great restaurants in the city.

All around Best – "What's not to love here? We went to Capital Grill & they had over an hour wait! WT@! We called the maitre d', it was 7:30 - fingers crossed - & he said come on over. We're glad we did, THIS is our new steak place. They were almost full, in fact we got the last empty table on the first floor. We waited all of 5 minutes after we arrived & we're greeted by 3 friendly faces (2 pretty ladies & the maitre d'. The drinks were very cool, the beers (awesome selection). Our waitress was cute, friendly, & smart. Oyst... read more

This place has potential – Beautiful building, attractive decor, delicious food, but unfortunately poor service. We had dinner reservations for two on Nov 8th but we were running late so we informed the maitre d' of a 15 minute late arrival. He said no problem, come on in. So we did and to our bewildered surprise were promptly seated at the "bar" area of the restaurant. We thought well this is strange. Either the dining areas were packed or we were getting the doormat treatment either because we were late or for some other u... read more

Best Delmonico Ever! Great Service too! – Usually I'm the quiet guy, calm, doesn't yell, yawn. My fiancee knows I love steak, she loves seafood, & she brought me to Table 31. Guys - you can hire me to do an ad for you. It was outrageously food. Plus your italian sommelier turned me on to some great wines as well. Didn't mean to spend that much, but it was well worth it. We'll be back.
