We just purchased a house and the tank that the previous owners had rented from Amerigas for years was completely rusted and a horrible eye sore. I had called Amerigas to see if they could swap out the tank since it was in such bad shape. She said yes, we discussed the annual rental and the cost of propane. Tank gets swapped out and we get a bill for $298, the fees to change the tank. I am upset that it was never disclosed that it was going to cost us that much just to swap it out. 4th day with no propane. It's below freezing out and can't seem to get a delivery from Amerigas despite daily calls to customer service. I would avoid doing business with this company.

This is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with! Delivery window was missed (no appointment time was given, only an 2 WEEK window). From there daily calls to customer service with lengthy waits and untrue runaround information, with promises of delivery that never came. This was an order that had been prepaid for 3 weeks at this point. I've had find to another service to fill my tank since it had become an emergency due to the delay, while Amerigas still has my money as I wait for an alleged refund!!!

This company is HORRIBLE! Literally EVERY month I have to spend hours on the phone trying to schedule a propane delivery to my home well after levels in the tanks fall dangerously low, according to them! There's always some BS excuse. I've even has a driver start to pull in my driveway, and then stop and drive away, claiming to his boss that our driveway wasn't plowed of snow. Which it WAS! This company scheduled to have a tank delivered on February 6th. Never received confirmation nor did we ever get in touch with someone. Every time I called I would be on hold for an hour only to be transferred to someone else because they didn’t have an answer. TWO hours later they stated delivery would be pushed out a month. This is a new build for a family of four. No hot water nor gas for our cooktop. Poor customer service, poor communication, and absolutely no professionalism. I would give this company ZERO stars. Worst customer service. I had to pay $200 to expedite a delivery I placed 10 days prior. They couldn’t give me an estimated delivery time either. Their prices were much higher than other places.

They're a terrible company. They do not meet their SLAs. Their customer service reps cannot answer a single question. They just say, "i can't access that information." It doesn't matter what you ask. Their prices do not reflect horrible service. They cannot be called a propane company; they never actually deliver propane. Now they aren't even answering the phones. There is no way to cancel my service and that's obviously by design. This company is nothing more than a scam.
