I do not feel safe here. The GAS LEAKS are a health and safety risk to all the residents. This problem should have been fixed last month when I first notified them I was smelling gas near my unit (2nd building third floor vicinity). I also have not heard of management offering any compensation for food, loss of use, or for inhaling natural gas for these months. Let’s see how this plays out. Don't live here. Gas is down constantly - which means no cooking in your own apartment. Currently we're on day 4 of the outage. No definitive date for it being back up has been given. They've offered no reimbursement for rent or the food we've had to buy since we can't cook anything. Staff is uncaring and unhelpful. When asking about the situation and another construction situation (constantly drilling in concrete for 3 days on end), they offer no answers and quickly move on from you with no offers to follow up. Many things in the complex and the apartment are broken. For example, as I write this, I have no running water. The garage doors are frequently broken, the gym equipment is broken, the doors to the pool are broken, there are cockroaches in the buildings, it took two months to fix a lightbulb, etc. I could go on. To say this apartment is disappointing would be an understatement. And, there was a murder in the garage last night and the apartment complex didn't even send out an email. I moved here after I was forced out by Harvey. I stayed less than 6 months because one of the maintenance people robbed my apartment and it took them forever to fire him. To be honest...they didn’t fire him until AFTER HPD arrested him. These buildings had bugs, roaches, trash all over the parking garage (random trash bags sitting out by the mail), reeks of weed, a neighbor got into it with people and a hole was punched in the wall (took over a week to fix) and now I saw a shooting was there. Updated: Moved in to find out gas outage every now and then. 5 days straight with no cooking gas. Neighborhood looks great! Specially the trails, restaurants nearby and the park. The interior is upscaled. I'm verying excited to move in soon.
