I've purchased 3 guitars from sweet water and had to return all 3. First guitar was a PRS American that felt extremely Cheap for a $2600 guitar. Pickup heights where super low, and action extremely High. Guitar kept have a loud hum and bud while playing it. Had to pay $60 to return the guitar even though it was defective. Second and third guitar was a fender that both times came damaged , with blue paint splattered on the body and neck. This is a white guitar. The fact that sweetwater is willing to send out a terrible guitar, even though they proclaim some great 55 point inspection is all that really needs said.

First of all, it's a shame that sweetwater doesn't provide free returns for specific categories and charge you for return shipping. I understand that. I bought a Rode Wireless Go 2 and couldn't like it and decided to send it back within the same week. It was a tiny little package that I shipped back, and they cut $24 from my refund for shipping. I am beyond disappointed. My fianc ordered this guitar first, couldnt afford it and had to cancel the order. I called and ordered the same guitar plus custom case, strap, and stand as a CHRISTMAS and birthday gift. I bought my dream guitar from Sweetwater after returning a guitar from **. The ** experience was weird, but I got my money back quickly no questions asked. Sweetwater's customer service is head and shoulders above any other music retailer. Their customer service is so good that they are literally helping me resolve a problem with a Musician's Friend order. After 3 hours on the phone with "fluent" English speaking reps at Musician's Friend, I called my rep at Sweetwater and got my personal rep on the phone immediately and help information within 5 mins. Sweetwater is a horrible company to have to deal with. My contact there, Brad *******, doesn't return calls and doesn't respond to email requests. I'm still waiting for him to order me a backordered headphone capable. I have no choice but to return the headphones (if I can get in contact with the company) the same way I did the last horrible guitar they sold me.
