Driving to Missouri for the holidays from South Carolina and I made it a point to stop here to eat. I had schooling last year in Knoxville and found this hidden gem somehow and I always joke about making the 5 hour drive to go here, and luckily we passed it yesterday. It is always so good.. plan on stopping on the way home too, so have that pulled pork ready!
Celebrating 23rd anniversary, always enjoy the atmosphere and the Brisket is the best anywhere Ever! Sweet P's is our favorite.
The beans were flavorless and the brisket was just ok. Was a little suspicious when the brisket wasn't sliced in front of me. Call me spoiled. People seemed nice enough but not sure what the fuss is all about.
Knoxville's original BBQ. The BBQ, tomato and blues salad, and pimento cheese with BBQ chips are to die for!!
Best bbq we've had since leaving Texas! Quaint little place. Trivia fact..Sweet Peas got their start during the 1982 World's Fair!

Awesome we came from Johnson City TN just to eat there. Everything was delicious!!!
