Best BBQ we have had. Bring from the North East, bbq is good, but not awesome. We have tried bbq across South East and Sweet Ps is the best, without a doubt. The smoked ribs are tangy and nicely spiced. The code of sauces complement the meat. The Mac and cheese is also very good.
I had the Brisket plate with Mac n cheese and slaw. Haven't had brisket this good since I lived in Houston in the early 80's. The mac n cheese is to die for!
They have two location but I always go to the original. The food is outstanding! Authentic real barbecue and homemade sides. They don't cut corners here... They just provide great food.
Went in got a table while my husband was in line.the guy that works there was gonna make me move .told me that they don't let you set down before you get your food.well you need put a sigh up . don't be so rude.
(Downtown) is NOT!! soulfood, very bland, tasting greens were dry had no juice or flavor dry rub chicken wings also no flavor

the ribs were some of the most tender I've had and the sauces have a good flavor without taking away from the meat,not that you need it the rub is more than enough, and the sautéed greens are now 1 of my favorites. everything from the food to the atmosphere and staff is awesome.
The barbecue was very good but the side dishes were just ok.
This place is a Gem! Their ribs are hands down the best we've had. This is our favorite BBQ place. 5 stars can't touch this Awesome food!!!
