This meal was out of this world!! My partner and I had a fantastic lunch at Sweet Melissa's in Rocky River. I had the Baked Eggplant w/ paperdelle and he had the matzoh ball soup, the Fire roasted Chicken Squash Risotto. We both went nuts over the Fried Green Tomatoes. The service was spectacular as well. Highly recommend!
Love their breakfast! Especially the ABC omelette! Service has always been fine.
I hate giving bad reviews and normally I would just brush off a bad experience to a one-time thing, but I can't this time. I should have said something last night while we were there dining, but in all honesty, I think it would have fallen on deaf ears. This was the second time we were here and boy were we disappointed. Host was unfriendly, took forever for waitress to take our order, food was just ok and the service was not good. I asked for over hard eggs w my salmon avocado breakfast sandwich and received runny eggs- yuk! We were not offered refills on our coffee or water. They have great desserts. Overall, food quality and pricing is good. Service is hit or miss though. Also, breakfast or brunch tends to be better than dinner later in the day.
The food is excellent, but the service is terrible. Some of the people who work there are unapproachable and rude. Pretty unfortunate considering it's called "Sweet" Melissa's.
Had lunch with seven friends. Service is fantastic and friendly. The food was very good. So glad they have gluten free buns, cupcakes and torte.
Really gotten a lot worse. Used to go all the time. Never again.
