I waited a month for this appointment while in pain. I was provided with orthopedic inserts that are from Amazon. I had to ask for the stretch exercise sheet that I should be performing each day and was given a referral for night splints that may or may not be covered by insurance. I waited an hour past my appt time with a follow up appointment 3 weeks later for possible further treatment. All of this could have taken place over a message or telehealth. I had been having random pain in the back of my ankle n heel. I made my appt, and 2 days b4 that appt I hurt that same foot. She knew immediately what was wrong and what we needed to do. Tore my achilles tendon away from the ankle bone and she needed to do emergency surgery. The appt was on Wed, my surgery was Monday went home later that day and now I'm on the mend.
I am a new patient. I found Dr. Zats very informative, thorough, thoughtful and professional.
