The slightest breeze causes outtages in Sussex County..I realize we are heavily tree covered -but this system is in desperate need of updating. I’ve lived in the Tri sate area for all of my life and have never experienced so many outtages. The tree maintenance is a joke. I had a branch come down and crush my windshield a few months ago,and there has been a log dangling from electrical wires on Lake Pochuk Rd for MONTHS. Get it together SRC!!
This is the third time in three straight weekends we lost power. I called at 11:00 this morning and as of now nothing. Called back again and ONLY 44 meters are affected. Estimated time is now 5:00. Why the hell is it taking them so long to get their behinds up here to fix it!!!! We are all getting really tired and beyond pissed off with this. I am NOT happy at all with SREC right now. And if this keeps happening And I lose appliances guess what THEY ARE GETTING THE BILLS!!!!!
3 major outages already this winter and it’s only been winter for less than a month. They are not a proactive company.

Too many power outages in the last few COLD months. I’ve lived in our home in Highland Lakes since 1999 and have never seen this many outages! Something has to be done to fix this reoccurring issue ASAP!

Out of power AGAINNNN for absolutely NO REASON WHAT SO ever. AND my calls to The outage hotline keep hanging up on me and your website won’t load either. We have lost power THREE different times this month all ranging from 6 days to a full day each time. The last two times there had been NO weather that would cause this... and right now it’s not even raining out. Nor did we hear any sort of explosion.
