I ruptured my quadricep tendon in my right knee on a Sunday afternoon. I had heard of Dr. Jordan and emailed her office later that evening. Dr. Jordan herself called me the next morning. I had an appointment with her PA Monday evening and met with Dr. Jordan the day after. Within a week I had my surgery. Shoulder surgery after being injured in a automobile accident was not what I had in mind when I turned 55 years old, but Dr. Jordan and the staff at Ortho Atlanta made what was a challenging experience a lot easier. She always seemed very concerned about my situation from the first appointment until the last, and placed my needs above all others. This was very important to me as my accident was work related and involved several insurance companies and workers comp.
Dr. Jordan is outstanding. Her office staff is professional, she is well-informed and caring, and she answered all of my questions. If I ever need more care from an orthopedic doctor, I will come back to see her.

What a relief to have found Dr. Susan Jordan! Years of golf, tennis, and squash had given me horrible shoulder pain, and the previous orthopedic doctor whom I saw recommended immediate surgery. As I learned, Dr. Jordan is more thoughtful-she felt that cortisone and physical therapy were worth a try. I needed a lot of convincing, since I thought that surgery would fix me right up. And Dr. Jordan was so right-I am eternally grateful to her for her expertise, her patience with me, and her caring.
As a retired nurse, I was so delighted to find Dr. Susan Jordan. I have a partially torn rotator cuff in both shoulders. The doctors whom I recall from my youth took time to explain patients’ situations and options for treatment-just what Dr. Jordan did! I never felt that she was rushing, as I do with so many of the MDs I see-when we were in her exam room, the only thing mattering to her was me. I recommend Dr. Jordan so very highly! She has helped my shoulders, and helped my faith in doctors!
