I needed an urgent appointment with an optician today after calling 111. I managed to get one here - same day. I had something in my eye or something damaged my eye. What a great service. Receptionists were friendly and inviting and the optician was polite, reassuring and thorough. She provided me with drops and ointment too. I had visions of sitting in A and E eye dept for hours. I was seen and walked out with treatment within 45 mins. A great NHS service from community resources.
We called this morning and managed to get an emergency appointment for today. We were immediately put at ease and treated with care. The optician was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly to us. We will only ever use this opticians now. Much better experience from start to finish than anywhere else.
Fantastic place. Would never go anywhere else. All the family come here and have been for over a decade with some complicated stuff as well as all the check ups and contact lenses and glasses etc, and they’ve been brilliant with everything and were recommended by a hospital sister. Scratched my cornea today and it was very painful. They were absolutely brilliant and squeezed me in so I could get it sorted! Brilliant, kind and knowledgeable team. Thanks so much Nisha, Kirsty and Zak!!

Carolann and Claire really are the best optometrist and optician I have seen. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to Carolann I have the best vision I have had in a long time. She takes the time to listen to and understand. Claire always helps find and fits the most suitable glasses.I have found no where else is good. Other places have always seemed to struggle to get my prescription and things right. They really are the best in the area.
