Booked through a third party site, input my flight number so they could track delays. Got delayed 4 hours, when we arrived Surprice told us that our car was resold and we weren’t eligible for a refund as they ‘only had to allow up to 2 hours’. They then told us the next day that we could have a different car if we paid an additional £740. Again, said we were not eligible for a refund. I contacted the 3rd party site who I booked through who then refunded me in full, no questions asked. Don’t waste your energy, time and money!

I booked with Surprice Mobility as they appeared to offer the most affordable rates by far. However, my experience was anything but smooth. Upon arrival, I was informed that I needed to pay more than double the original price in additional insurance fees, otherwise, I wouldn't be allowed to rent the car. Staff was incredibly rude. Seemed really annoyed because I was asking basic questions which they struggled to explain. It doesn’t take a lot to be courteous.

My colleagues and I rented a car from Surprice Mobility at Manchester Airport in June 2025. At pick-up, a £1,500 deposit was supposed to be pre-authorised, not charged. After reviewing the bank statement and speaking again with the Manchester branch, it became clear that the deposit was fully charged together with the rental fee in a single transaction. Avoid these crooks! Rented a car from here In December. Took a £400 deposit with the proviso that it gets returned when car comes back in good order and no fines were given to the car. 18 emails to these idiots without a response and kept ignoring and 23 calls putting us off, I finally had to go into shop and demand the money back.
