If I could give zero stars, I would. Surprise UK is a car rental company that lives up to its name in the worst possible way. From the outset, their business practices were misleading, borderline fraudulent, and utterly unprofessional. When I rented a car from them, they took a £1,500 deposit – not just held it as an authorization like most reputable companies do, but actually withdrew the money from my account. An absolute awful experience. Avoid these people at all costs. Was given a faulty vehicle (tyre had a bubble in it) and after getting it changed with the promise of a refund, I've had to jump through hoops at wvery stage and despite my refund apparently being with the accounts team for over a month now, they won't give me time frames or answers as to when it may happen. Truly a grubby experience with a grubby company. Again, avoid them and pay a little extra to go to someone reputable.
Der Buchungsprozess war einfach und schnell. Die angebotenen Raten sind sehr günstig im Vergleich. Schon nach 10min waren wir im Bus zur Übergabe. Die Fahrt hat 45min gedauert, aber wir haben dabei das Schloss Windsor besichtigt. Auto brandneu und sauber. Ein kleiner Kratzer an der Felge wurde zwar beanstandet, aber nicht verrechnet. Bei Rückgabe wurden wir im Umkreis von 20 Meilen an einen Wunschort gebracht. Immer wieder gerne. Ich kann das Unternehmen nur empfehlen. Wir hatten einen Opel Corsa.
Very happy with my first time experience with fairview/surprice. Staff very friendly. Pickup and dropoff went smoothly. Car was brand new (1200 miles). I highly recommend
