Been shopping here since the 90s but had a strange experience here today where we were told to get out. We asked the butcher if he had any organic chicken or meat available. The butcher said I don’t know and told us to ask the elderly gentleman on the till, who I believe is the store owner and father of Ahmed. If you enjoy rudeness, being gaslit about chicken, and then kicked out for asking a question, this is your place. Walked in, asked the butcher if they have organic chicken. “ The butcher said, “Ask the owner.” The owner said, “Ask the butcher.” Ten minute round of “who’s the most clueless” later, they decided the chicken was organic and kept insisting on me buying it.
