Wow...just wow. Replaced the OEM shocks on my 2017 HD Electra Glide on Friday July 5th. I wasn't sure what to expect and wondered if I'd really notice the difference. I took the bike out on an initial ride (70 miles) and I am shocked (pun intended) at the change in the ride. I took a 90 turn and the bike was so for over in the turn that it scraped the exhaust! I purchased a set of Super Shoxs and they arrived three days before I was leaving to go on a 2500 mile ride. I had been enduring the torture of the Harley OEM shocks for months and knew they were not going to work on my travels. ok i purchased these shox for my 2014 harley ultra limited and now that i have put a few hundred miles on my bike and able to adjust them to my liking i am very pleased with this purchase. It has changed my bike to a new machine , i love the way it lowered my bike by about a half and inch , it now just fits me better being flat footed at a stop , i also love the extra travel in the suspension it rides so much nicer with almost a feel of more road control especially in the corners, overall it just rides so much better, th... read more
We have been riding our 2023 Tri Glide Ultra for over a year with the stock shocks. We installed Super Shox 14.5” just before going on a 1000 mile trip. The wife was so pleased with the difference in the ride. Now the bumps are more noticeable on the front than the back.
Super Shox deliver what they promise! A better ride while maintaining stock ride height. Brian recommended the Premium, 14" shock for my 2021 Electra Glide Standard. I was skeptical about that not changing my seat height but I went with his recommendation. I was also skeptical about getting a better ride. Installed the new Supershox on 6/9/24 on my 2017 Harley Street Glide Special. I an 5’10” and weigh 240lbs. I set the shocks at 3.5 for a single rider setting and went out for a ride. Not ¼ of a mile from my house are some really bad bumps in the road that always pretty much throw me out of my seat and it feels like someone is sticking a spike into my backside. I received my Supershox Premium Series SR2 for my 2023 HD Road Glide Special May 18th, ‘24. I put 10,000 miles on the stock shocks and couldn’t suffer using them any longer. I set my expectation level to match the ride comfort the my 2016 Victory Vision had, which was incredible. I spoke to Brian at SuperShox and also contacted other brands. What can I say? SuperShoz were recommended by a friend. I put them on my 2017 FLHTKL the same afternoon they arrived. Instructions were easy to follow and only took maybe 1/2 hour. I love the sheet that came with them to show setting for all ranges of load. They were set to my 1up weight so I took a spin. There several manhole covers on my daily route that I have to avoid or my back with ache, but I just glided over them.
