This review is two fold. I have Supershox on a 2008 ultra and a 2007 VROD. The Vrod now handles and corners like a slant bike. holds the road much better. the adjustment for passenger riding is easy and straight forward with the included load diagram. The shocks on the 2008 ultra.....I orginally purchased what i would call gen1. direct replacement. well over time i think one or both shocks have started to leak. I've installed three sets of the supershox on my three Harley Davidsons, (1) 2015 CVO Limited, (1) 2020 CVO Limited and most recently my 2019 Tri-glide Ultra. these shocks, have not disappointed at all, with the extra length and blocks to off set the shock the ride on my limited is awesome. I recently installed the 14.5" shocks on my Tri-Glide and what a difference, the cornering is great, the feel is awesome and my wife enjoys the ride as well. I purchased two sets of shocks, one for my 2020 RGS and one for my wife's 2021 RGS. Her shocks were ordered with the lowering blocks. Installation was simple and straightforward. The ride is fantastic, a night and day difference between stock and Super Shox. My wife described it as like a 'Cadillac'. I, also, am extremely impressed with the ride. The shocks are well-worth the money and you will not be disappointed with the performance.
I have a pair of Super Shox for my Rd. Glide Limited and cannot believe the difference in the ride. Talked to Brian and he recommended the shock I would need for both of our weights. He was spot on, my bike rides just as good with two up as it does with solo. Got back off a thousand-mile trip and couldn't be more satisfied. Brian is your go to person when it comes to a comfortable ride, very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to.
These shocks in my opinion are the best out there. High quality, durable, easy to install and gives you a very smooth ride that can easily be adjusted. Lifetime Warranty and great customer service on top of it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I installed my Super Shox a couple of weeks ago on our 2016 Road Glide Ultra CVO. The installation was very straightforward. The instructions were clear and concise. All of the required hardware was included and shipped promptly, even with the supply shortages we've been experiencing. Best improvement I've done! There is a road on my way to work that I hated going down, other riders and myself would go out of our way to avoid it because it was so rough! No joke, I could at best go 35mph down it and still get beat to hell weaving trying to find a decent spot to ride. I put the supershox on and I was running 75-80 and barely felt anything! Supershox will be the first upgrade to any bike I ever have!
My Super Shox arrived Saturday evening. Installed Sunday AM. Easy, Peasy. Went out with momma on the back, about (210 & 140) 350lbs together. Following the provided chart I Initially set them to 5.5. Little too soft. Set to 7. Great ride. A bit stiff. Set to 6.5, excellent ride. Very noticeable and impressive improvement. Love the ability to "tune" them to be just right. If you prefer the ride a bit stiff, and extra half turn, want it softer back it off a quarter to half turn. And there's no wallowing in corners. ... read more
Had Supershox installed on my 2017 Harley Street Glide Special. The ride now is amazing! Stability, comfort and confidence are how I would describe my experience.
