Highly overrated. Old, run down, way too expensive. Not impressed. Next time will return to The Standard.
A true urban oasis! Home away from home. Great service staff; comfy accommodations; delicious cuisine and a raucous bar, what more do you need?

This is my second home. I can't tell you how wonderful each and every staff member is, from the managers to the restaurants and bars to the front desk to the front door and everywhere in between! The atmosphere is over the top, great rooms, food and drink!

This is my home away from home in LA. It's an oasis in the middle of the cement and steel that feels more like a island retreat than an urban hotel. The staff and management are second to none. I don't think I've ever posted a review when Facebook has prompted me, but this place is worth it.
I had a work commitment in LA and my wife came along and staying at the Sunset Marquis turned it into a genuine vacation. The room was perfect, staff was incredibly helpful and, yes, we did share the hotel with a genuine superstar while we were there. I have never written a review on FB or anywhere else before but this place was so great I was finally moved to put one down. Thanks for the memories.
