Horrible customer service IMO. WHEN YOU LOCK DOWN A DEAL "ESPECIALLY FOR MILITARY" AND BAIL FOR A CUSTOMER PAYING MORE $ FOR VEHICLE THAT'S JUST GOING TO DEPRECIATE EXACTLY THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT THE SALE PRICE IS. THIS SCREAMS GREED. MONEY IS THE ROOT TO ALL EVERY DOING. AND WHAT COMES AROUND FORD AROUND. WAS IT WORTH ALL SORTS OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS JUST TO MAKE BUCK? LOOKS LIKE IT. EXPECT MANY MORE TO COME. Do not do business with this company!!!! Horrible credibility! This company sold my friends (military family) vehicle out from under them and completely screwed them over. Absolutely not ok!
My cousin who is serving our country overseas purchased a vehicle from this company to be picked up when they come home in two weeks. Financing was complete and the dealership confirmed they would have the vehicle ready for them when they returned state side only to turn around and sell the car out from under them after the sell was complete! I recently bought a truck from the used car dealership. Service after the sale is why I would not recommend Sunset Chevrolet to anyone looking for a car/truck. In the deal we had things we wanted to be fixed on our truck that we were purchasing. We were told to take it to the service department at the new dealership...we did .... the truck pulled to the right and it had a shimmy at 30-50 mph . They’re great until you need your vehicle serviced under warranty and then you’re treated like a third class citizen! Horrible communication skills I got there for my appointment and they didn’t work on the truck for three hours later told me they didn’t have a rental car for me gave me a ride home with one of their guys but they had my key so I didn’t have a way in the house and they told their shuttle guy to leave me there and come back! Dave G. was an a. amazing helper all through out the day. He was extremely patient and helpful in the process of my new-ish car purchase today. I left with more then I was expecting in my pocket and with a beautiful Subaru! If you are looking to purchase a new or used car go see Dave G. I did not realize that Sunset Chevrolet is also part of Kia and Mitsubishi. Which means you can shop online or at any of there lots with tons of inventory.
