Terrible experience in every way. X-rays were determined by intake staff who did not appear to have medical training or much knowledge of any kind. They had X-rays done on a body part I had no complaints about. The doctor breezed in, barely looked at my complaint, gave me no suggestions for what to do, and sent me away with an order for blood tests and MRI but said my insurance would probably put up a fight. I left not knowing what to do in meantime or after tests are done. Truly bad!
Many doctors did not really hear what my daughter was saying as they looked at a healthy teen and jumped to conclusions. Dr. Berdia took the time to listen to her and ask clarifying questions along the way. He was methodical in his diagnostic procedure. After four years of chronic pain, the area treated by Dr. Berdia is pain-free. We would not hesitate to recommend him.
I waited for over 75 minutes for a scheduled appointment. When Dr. Berdia was finally examining my elbow, his cell phone rang. To my surprise, he proceeded to actually answer the phone and carry on a 5-minute conversation, during my exam. Then he hung up on the caller, failed to solve my problem, and sent me a bill at a rate of $2,500/hour for his 10-minute "comprehensive consultation." Dr. Berdia is the single worst doctor I have ever encountered.
