I love the solar panels, and the install from 2016 is Great. However the customer service department is the worst I’ve ever seen. They don’t return calls for weeks at a time. They don’t show up when they say they are coming out to fix the panels. Because of the customer service I would give them 2 stars and would not recommend Sun Solar...

Sun solar sold me my system with no service. That is the way the world is headed. I do not know if I will save any money. I will see. I have really been unhappy with the way I have had to call them, call them and call them to get things done for me. Then when I was not calling them I was calling the light company. My system was finally in and running and my energy audit came. They installed a new thermostat for my unit and they did the sealing of my house. I have had a good experience with SunSolar. I had the 6250 watt system installed late last summer. Had a view delays due to the electric company but all has worked well when my system came on line. It has covered my usage each month until January and February, which was expected. The installers were courteous and professional. The installation was done in one day. I would recommend SunSolar. I was very pleased with the professional attitude of my sales staff, Ben Proffer. We signed the initial paperwork around 1 Dec 2017. the install was scheduled for Feb. 2018. I postponed the install because of weather, to later in Feb. so the install crew wouldn't slide off my roof. when they showed up, I didn't see Ben. he had not been aware of the schedule. the engineers were also wrong in their planning due to the code restrictions in Lees Summit. they were going to short me 2 panels, so I called Ben. the install crew fina... read more
